Francestown, NH
August 2004
(Images on this page are linked to full-size versions.)
The evening scene. Chilling out on the back porch. Somehow the
row of Red Stripe bottles made it into both of these frames.
Too many digital cameras. Also, I can't hold my own damn camera still.
The view from inside the barn. An assortment of daytime and nighttime shots.
(I think the tractor's sexy.)
Experimenting with light in the Francestown cemetery at 1 AM.
It is almost completely dark. The camera, on a tripod, is taking
roughly 30-second exposures while I walk around (through the frame!) and
"paint" the graves with light from my flashlight. There are infinite
possibilities with this technique, but it's very challenging to picture
the final product while you're doing it. These are my two favorites.
