Adam Kraft, Dave Nelson, and Ryan Williams, along with Cameron from Third East, converted a sleeper sofa into a sweet vehicle powered by a surplus snowblower engine. The occasion was East Campus Rush 2004.
A Technical Note:
In an uncharacteristic departure from my principles, I shot these photos
with a Nikon D1H digital SLR. Two results should be immediately obvious.
First, the emphasis on quantity over quality. Second, in shots with a
mixture of sunlight and shade, the highlights are badly blown out -- an
ugly characteristic common to all digital photos. Modern CCDs can still
only achieve a fraction of the contrast range of photographic film.
